Digital Telephone Directories Provide Instant Computer Access To Oahu Phone Listings by CD-ROM and The Internet

HONOLULU, January 1, 2004 - Now Oahu residents have access to both the white and yellow pages telephone directories on their computers. Digital editions of The Paradise Yellow Pages directories are now available on CD-ROM and through the Internet. The digital directories provide instant access to business, government and emergency listings for Ohau. The digital Paradise Yellow Pages directories allow users to view actual directory pages and Yellow Pages advertising, search for directory listings, and print out addresses,phone numbers, and coupons from their computers.

"This isn't just a database list. You'll be able to actually view the directory pages as they appear on paper," says David Akina, president of The Paradise Media Group, LLC. "Names, numbers, Yellow page ads, all will appear on your computer in any size for easy reading."

The digital Paradise Yellow Pages utilize technology that allows users to search by name or business category, provides variable magnification of pages and individual directory listings, and will retain the actual look of the original paper directories. Listings can then be printed out for later reference. Yellow Pages advertisers will also be able to include hot links to their business Web sites and email addresses in the directory ads for the convenience of their customers. Advertisers will also be able to purchase banner ads in the digital directories.


The Paradise Yellow Pages will publish both digital and paper directories for the Big Island in January 2004.
